October News: Brunch Starts This Sunday, New Burger On The Menu

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be opening the door at 10:30am this Sunday for our first day of brunch. And starting next weekend (and all weekends thenceforth), we’ll be serving brunch from 10:30am-2:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Since the early days of developing the restaurant, brunch has always been a big part of the plan, as the Elmwood has such a great vibe on the weekends – can’t wait to get it started…

The brunch menu highlights include carmelized French toast, cazuela-baked eggs and house-made scones alongside dinner staples like our wood-grilled flatbread, little gems salad and our recently introduced hamburger.

In addition, bar manager Matthew Campbell has twisted up five special brunch cocktails, including his take on a Bloody Mary (the Advo Bloody), a riff on a New Orleans iced coffee (Second Line) and a rhubarb-tinged Aperol spritz (Rhubarb Spritz).

We are taking reservations for brunch and as with dinner we will be reserving half the dining room seating for walk-ins. Spread the word!

The Burger has landed

After several weeks of internal R&D, we added a wood-grilled burger and fries to the menu last week. The burger includes rosemary grilled onions, gem lettuce, and scallion salsa (our “special sauce”) – options include cheddar and Hobbs’ bacon – it’s delicious…

Here it is, in all its glory:
