An Evening with Gamling & McDuck at The Advocate

Friday, April 29th, 2016

On Friday, May 6th, from 6pm to 8pm, The Advocate will welcome Gabrielle Schaffer and Adam McCleary of Gamling & McDuck for a special evening of conversation and tasting, showcasing their Loire-inspired California Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc and Rosé of Cab Franc. A specially paired three-course menu of Chef Humphrey’s wood-fired Northern California cuisine will be available for $70 per diner. In addition, all three wines will be available both as a flight or by-the-glass. No special reservations are necessary in advance and diners may order from the regular menu.

About the wine-makers: Gabriella Shaffer and Adam McCleary make Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc in the Napa Valley. Shaffer is also the viticulturist at Stagecoach, while McCleary also manages a boutique winery in Calistoga. They also have a fantastic website! Check it out at http://www.gamlingandmcduck.com - we think you’ll find it very entertaining.
